Post- Foot & Lower limb Biomechanics therapist

Role summary

Provide preventive podiatry care for foot and lower limb problems (no surgeries). Perform clinical assessments including gait analysis, make biomechanical diagnoses, recommend orthotic corrections and exercises, educate patients, and manage follow‑ups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical assessment: Take history and perform foot and lower‑limb exam using our assessment format; include gait analysis.
  • Diagnosis: Finalize biomechanical diagnosis and explain it clearly to patients.
  • Treatment planning: Recommend appropriate orthotics based on lifestyle; explain use and care.
  • Exercise prescription: Plan and teach corrective exercises when needed.
  • Follow‑up: Schedule and execute follow‑ups; adjust plan and products as required.
  • Record keeping: Maintain accurate clinical notes and product recommendations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Required: B.O.Th. or B.P.Th. (or higher).
  • Knowledge: Basic biomechanics and exercise planning.
  • Skills: Good communication, patient education, observational gait skills, basic computer literacy.
  • Attitude: Willingness to learn a new specialty and grow a podiatry practice.
  • Training, probation, and growth
  • Probation: 4–6 months (paid) with structured training.
  • Training includes: Certified podiatry workshop, hands‑on product training, supervised case observations, and assessment practice.
  • After confirmation: Eligible for annual salary raises and incentives based on sales from consultations.
  • Career growth: Fast track to a distinct podiatry identity, advanced clinical roles, and specialist recognition within the clinic.
