NAME: 29 year old Firemen came with reoccurring corns since 5 years

SITUATION:

Prathamesh came with  total 10 corns on feet. He was not able to walk properly due to pain.

COMPLICATION:

He had tried all remedies, corn caps but it was getting worst day by days. As being firefighter, he has to be on his feet. But it started affecting his work job. His seniors advised him to take leave & fix the issue first as he was declared unfit.

SOLUTION:

At footimpact we analyzed his foot arches & walking pattern

His feet are extreme high arch with week forefoot (Reduced transverse arch)

As a result, there was excessive forefoot pressure was resulting the corns.

We prescribed him corrective insoles & footwear to offload pressure from corns.

IMPACT:

As we tried correction, he felt immediate difference as he was able to walk without pain. He has been coming for follow up for non-surgical corn removal.

He has also resumed his work.
